Pink Sandisk 1GB Sansa M249 MP3 Player
Portable Fun For The Fun-loving Fashionista

pinksandiskmp3player

Known for producing highly reliable memory cards that are more affordable than their Sony counterparts, Sandisk has made great strides in the electronics industry in the past decade.  Their brand has become synonymous with flash memory products for a variety of applications.

It comes as a surprise therefore, albeit a pleasant one, that Sandisk has released an entertainment product that girls (and pink lovers ) all over the world are sure to love.

The Sandisk 1GB Sansa m249 MP3 player seems to be your typical flash drive-slash-music player.  But as soon as you see it, you will know that it’s something different.

In fact, we can say that the Sandisk 1GB Sansa m249 MP3 player is something very, very special.
It’s pink!

Aside from the beauty of its chosen color and the simplicity of its design that perfectly complements the casual elegance of the hue, the Sandisk 1GB Sansa m249 MP3 player boasts of the following features:

- A storage space that can carry 250 songs, or more than 16 hours of music, if the files are in MP3 format.  The storage space can carry 500 songs, or more than 30 hours of music, if the files are in WMA format.
- Though the product plays MP3, WMA and Audible file formats, it can actually save any file of any format for easy transport and sharing with other PC terminals, much like your usual USB flash drive.
- 19 hour playback per charge.
- An FM radio tuner.
- A built-in microphone with voice recorder, features which are rare for MP3 players these days.
- Ability to define the playlist so that you can play the music you want to hear in the order you want to hear.

Of course, for many of us, the fact that the Sandisk 1GB Sansa m249 MP3 player is pink would be enough.  It’s the deal maker.  End of discussion.  Sold!

And it can be bought for less than $30, which is a very good price for everything this product can offer.
The Sandisk 1GB Sansa m249 MP3 player, however, has some misgivings that require your attention:

- It runs on AAA battery, which makes it more expensive to maintain in the long run.
- 1GB may not be that big a storage space if you’re planning to use the product as a portable drive.  It won’t be able to hold 2 movies in .avi format, for example.
- Some units are said to have issues with the start screen freezing up.

Are the positive features of the Sandisk 1GB Sana m249 MP3 player to overcome these negatives?

You bet!

Ask any pink lover any pink lover and she’ll be quick to tell you that the color clinched it.

The Apple iPod Nano 16GB Pink (4th Generation)

Don’t Call It A Comeback

iponano4thgenerationpinkb

Apple is like the Midas of gadgets. Midas has the uncanny power of turning everything he touches into gold. Apple has a similar power, only, it also transforms things into hipper, cooler and more enjoyable versions of their former selves.

Take for example the usual MP3 players. These little beauties starter their lives as USB flash drives until some clever marketing guy (I’m assuming he’s a marketing guy because it was such a bold marketing move) said that “hey, since USB flash drives are usually being used to store music, why don’t we give people the chance to listen to the stored music straight from their USB flash drives?”

Thus, MP3 players were born.

And they were in existence way before Apple’s return to prominence in the world of consumer electronics.

Apple’s flagship product since its unbelievable resurrection is, without a doubt, the iPod. The iPod, for all intents and purposes, is an MP3 player, only, it’s cooler – WAY cooler.

One of the most popular – and functional – iterations of the iPod is the iPod Nano. The iPod Nano is the evolution of Apple’s first release, the iPod Shuffle. The iPod Nano was a fantastic upgrade to the Shuffle. Not only did it introduce a larger storage space and a longer playback time, it also introduced a 2 inch LCD screen is capable of displaying images. The Nano allowed users to save their favorite photos, hence acted like a portable digital photo album since its release. This feature also allowed songs to display their appropriate album covers. Because of the iPod Nano, MP3 files were modified to include thumbnails of their album covers – a revolution in the way MP3s were made.

The iPod Nano is also stylishly thin. It’s just as thick as 2 or 3 credit cards stacked together.

Now on its 4th generation, the iPod Nano has added even more features, and some of them came straight from Apple’s newest blockbuster of a product, the iPhone.

Currently, the 4th generation iPod Nano comes in 8GB and 16GB versions, either would be able to carry thousands of songs. It also possesses the iPhone’s flip-sensing technology, using the same for its proprietary Cover Flow system. When an album cover is displayed on its screen, just flip the Nano on its side and the album covers will change until you flip it back up when the album you want to play appears on screen.

And how about this: want to change the song but you’re too lazy to sift through the playlist? Just give the iPod Nano a shake – literally speaking – and it will automatically play the next song, or a song chosen at random if you’d choose such an option.

Sounds fantastic, right?

But the foremost question in your mind has yet to be answered. So allow me, please…

YES, it comes in pink!

The Pink Sony 8GB Walkman Video MP3 Player-Don’t Call It A Comeback

pinksonywalkman

Long before Apple’s iPod, Sony’s Walkman ruled the roost.  The Sony Walkman was the product that introduced the concept of a portable and personal music player.  Before it was introduced to the market, people brought cassette players with them just to listen to the songs they want to hear.  The Sony Walkman changed all that by providing a light, compact cassette player that transmits audio to the speakers of an earphone.

The Sony Walkman defined coolness for many, many years.

But technology advanced, and the Sony Walkman tried to adapt.  Music was no longer being stored in cassette tapes, rather, songs were being sold in CDs.  Sony introduced the Discman which was also a success though it failed to capture the public’s interest the same way its predecessor did.

Then came the Apple iPod and the world started singing – and listening to – a different tune.
The Walkman/Discman was buried in obscurity.

Until now.

Making a big time comeback, Sony has introduced the 8GB Walkman Video MP3 player.  With fantastic features and a sexy design, the Sony Walkman has staged a mighty resurrection and is perfectly poised to compete with the best that the Apple iPod can offer.

And guess what?

The 8GB Walkman Video MP3 player comes in pink color, and this fact alone wins for it a lot of serious brownie points!

But the 8GB Walkman Video MP3 player is more than just a fashion accessory.  It boasts of many fantastic features that are obviously meant to give the iPod a run for its money.  These are:

- A storage space than can carry almost 2,000 songs and more than 30 hours of video.
- A 45 hour playback for audio files and an 8 hour playback for video files, per charge.  The product has one of the longest battery lives for any portable electronic item.
- TFT color display on a 2 inch screen capable of exhibiting 262,144 colors at 240 x 320 resolution.
- Supports MP3, WMA, AAC-LC and Linear PCM audio file formats.  Supports MP4 and WMV video formats.
- Comes with an FM radio tuner.
- Fantastic sound quality with crystal clear bass.
- Sleek design.  The new Walkman is very portable at 1.4 x 5 x 7 inches, and with a weight of just 5.9 ounces.  And the Walkman is less than half an inch thick!
- Intuitive interface with drag-and-drop mechanics.  No need for complicated instruction.

Need we reiterate that the Sony 8GB Walkman Video MP3 player comes in pink?

There are a few complaints about the product however.  Some people criticize the non-expandable memory capacity of the new Walkman, as 8GB may be sufficient today but may be miniscule by next year.  Some people are saddened about the fact that the new Walkman doesn’t have a built-in voice recorder.  And some users have experienced incompatibilities when synching the new Walkman with Windows Vista 64… but hey, who doesn’t have problems with Windows Vista, right?

These criticisms do not take away the fact that the new Walkman is an amazing portable machine that is very much worth the $139 SRP it comes with.

And it’s pink!
